North Cornwall Twp. Police investigate shooting of 21-year-old by 17-year-old

The North Cornwall Township Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Tuesday, September 17, at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Center Street.

In a press release, police said they were called to the scene at around 7:28 p.m. on Tuesday because shots had been fired. Upon arrival, officers found a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

A 17-year-old youth was arrested as a suspect. Police said the youth was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, illegal possession of a weapon and other charges.
