Summary – Wed, September 18, 2024

Dry and cool today, about 10 – 15 degrees below normal. Another fall storm is expected for Wednesday/Thursday, with snow levels in Mammoth above ~9,500 feet, with perhaps 2 – 4 inches of snow over the summit of Mammoth. A 50% – 70% chance of light showers is also likely for the Owens Valley for Wednesday/Thursday. Despite all of this, temperatures remain well below normal. We should reach seasonal norms by the weekend, with additional warming early next week as a high pressure system builds again…DMATT
