“DGHNDMBSR”: Stefan Raab’s return: This is what viewers can expect in his new show

This Wednesday evening (September 18) brings the long-awaited return of entertainer Stefan Raab (57) as showmaster. In “You won't win the million here with Stefan Raab” (“DGHNDMBSR”) he faces one of five candidates who are fighting for one million euros. The first episode was recorded on Tuesday and will be shown on RTL+ on Wednesday from 8:10 p.m. New episodes are always shown on Wednesdays at the same time.

A short video clip from RTL's streaming service on Instagram shows Raab's first appearance in the new show and his entry into the studio, which is reminiscent of a cityscape and shines in warm, dark colors.

“The legendary shirt and the legendary jeans and the legendary T-shirt. I can't believe it,” said one fan, already excited about the first official trailer for “DGHNDMBSR”. In it, Raab walks through his new studio, which was obviously still being built at the time. “This show has everything: entertainment, quizzes, competition,” he assures excitedly and happily in a light shirt, dark shirt and blue jeans.

Stefan Raab explains further in the trailer: “Here I sit.” [ein Pult]There's a shop, the games take place up here. The world's biggest competition hybrid show, where you can win a million every week. But unfortunately someone has something against it…” he says with his well-known Raab grin and points to himself.

During the press conference mentioned above, he also announced that the show will last 90 minutes and that it will have “everything I can do: there will be competition, there will be quizzes, but of course I will also dissect the events of the week properly”. He has a band and there will be music.

Five competitors will have the opportunity

The first challengers are four men and one woman. The broadcaster RTL has the following to say about the selection process for the candidates: “Five candidates will get the chance to compete against Raab in a buzzer round. Each round will include multiple choice questions and a duel against the master himself. If a candidate is eliminated,” another can step up and play with Stefan for the million.

Stefan Raab had no less of an aim than this: “Of course I have no pity. The aim is that no one will ever win a million,” he said. “I would say that this is the most honest million-dollar show on German television,” the Cologne native added with his usual modesty.

Almost ten years ago, Stefan Raab withdrew from the spotlight on the television stage. He attracted attention again with his boxing match against Regina Halmich (47).
