30 injured in head-on collision between passenger buses in Kamrup district

Kamrup (Assam): At least 30 people, including women and minors, were injured in a head-on collision between two passenger buses in Kamrup district of Assam on Wednesday, police said.

The incident took place in Rampur area of ​​Kamrup district. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.

Kamrup district police commissioner Ranjan Bhuyan told ANI that all the injured were safe.

“Both the buses were coming from opposite directions and the passenger buses collided in Rampur area. At least 30 people were injured in the accident,” said Ranjan Bhuyan.

After the incident, locals and police rushed to the scene, rescued the injured and immediately took them to the hospital.
