Lauren Sánchez shares her excitement for Jeff Bezos' wedding

Lauren Sánchez can't wait to walk down the aisle.

The former entertainment journalist spoke to “Extra” on Monday about her upcoming wedding to Jeff Bezos and said she was “most excited” to “meet the husband of [her] dreams.”

She gushed: “He is incredible. I get to spend the rest of my life with him and he loves my children. And I'm really looking forward to that.”

Sánchez, 54, has three children: 23-year-old son Nikko with her ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez, and 18-year-old son Evan and 16-year-old daughter Ella with her ex-husband Patrick Whitesell.

The helicopter pilot and 60-year-old Bezos made their romance public in 2019, and four years later the Amazon founder got down on one knee.

The bride-to-be shared the story of her proposal with Vogue in November 2023.

“When he opened the box, I think I fainted a little,” she said when she saw her cushion-cut diamond ring.

Sánchez added: “We are still thinking about the wedding, what it will be like. Will it be big? Will it be abroad? We don't know yet.”

While she said on Thursday that she was “focused” on the publication of her children's book “The Fly That Flew into Space,” she is “get[ting] for the wedding soon.”

When “Extra” host Billy Bush jokingly offered to carry the ring for her, Sánchez replied: “Oh, that's good. That's good. I was looking for someone.”

The “excited” former news anchor did not provide any further details about the date or location of her and Bezos' wedding.

The businessman was previously married to MacKenzie Scott, with whom he has three children.

Sánchez called her blended family the “Brady Brunch” in an interview with WSJ magazine in January 2023.

“On a typical Saturday, we hang out and have dinner with the kids. It's always fun because you never know where the conversation is going to go when there are so many kids around,” she said.

Sánchez and Bezos were both present at their eldest son's college graduation in June.
