Truck crash causes traffic jam on the A10 near Werfen

There was a truck accident on the Tauern Autobahn (A10) at around 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning in front of the tunnel chain in Werfen (Tennengau). The motorway had to be closed in both directions as a result. The closure was lifted at around 7.30 a.m. The kilometer-long traffic jam is only slowly clearing up, however.

As the police reported in a traffic report, the semi-trailer truck came off the road in the single-lane construction zone. However, the recovery work on the truck had to be interrupted and the defective vehicle remained next to the road until the evening.
