Raab's new show is launched

Stefan Raab's new show is launching today on the streaming service RTL+. It will be called “You won't win the million with Stefan Raab” and will be available from 8:10 p.m. The entertainer, who had disappeared from the scene for almost ten years, surprisingly announced the format at short notice on Saturday. The pilot show was recorded before the broadcast.

It is “the first entertainment quiz competition hybrid show in the world,” Raab said at the weekend. Everything he is good at will be shown in it. Among other things, he will also dissect the week's events. There will be a million euros to win every week. The whole thing is reminiscent of a mixture of “TV total” and “Schlag den Raab,” two of his old formats from his earlier television days.

The broadcast day of his new show also has a certain explosiveness, even though Raab will now be seen online. Wednesday evening is also the linear broadcast slot for “TV total” on ProSieben – Raab's own invention and former hit show, now hosted by Sebastian Pufpaff. Raab – now 57 years old – surprised many fans on Saturday with his new look: in good shape with muscles and a six-pack, but now with white hair.
