Five students and a teacher are injured in a school stabbing spree after a 12-year-old boy “came in after lunch and started stabbing everyone he saw”

A 12-year-old boy injured at least five other students and a teacher in a knife attack at school.

The child allegedly entered the facility in Portugal where he was said to have been a student and began stabbing everyone he saw in a horror attack at 2.14pm today.

He was wearing a bulletproof vest and is said to have attacked five girls and a boy between the ages of 12 and 14 with a sharp weapon, reports SIC Noticias.

None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, but a 12-year-old girl was taken to hospital in serious condition, said a police officer on duty in the town of Azambuja, about 50 kilometers northeast of Lisbon.

It was not immediately clear what had provoked the attack.

“He entered (the school) after lunch and started stabbing everyone he saw,” Azambuja Mayor Silvino Lucio told CNN Portugal.
