Peel Region Police have charged a man in connection with two previous sexual assault investigations.

According to police, on July 12, 2004, a 20-year-old woman was approached by a man in the area of ​​Mclaughlin Rd. and Ceremonial Dr. in Mississauga and allegedly sexually assaulted.

On February 11, 2005, according to police, a 16-year-old girl was approached and allegedly sexually assaulted by the same man in the area of ​​Balmoral Dr. and Bramalea Rd. in Brampton.

Both incidents were reported to the police at the time.

On Monday, following an investigation dubbed “Project Shadow,” police arrested 43-year-old Justin Foley of Mississauga and charged him with two counts of kidnapping, two counts of use of an imitation firearm in the commission of an offence, two counts of sexual assault with a weapon, two counts of intentional disguise, extreme menacing and broken resistance in the commission of an offence.
