Gary Minford

An alleged pervert appeared in court today. He is accused of harassing and stalking a woman he allegedly sexually abused.

Appearing at Antrim Magistrates Court in Ballymena, 38-year-old Gary Minford confirmed he understood the three charges against him.

Minford, of Bush Park in Antrim, is accused of harassment, stalking and sexual assault of a woman, all of which are alleged to have occurred on August 26 this year.

None of the alleged facts underlying the charges were tried in court, but the particulars of the offenses state that Minford harassed the plaintiff and “engaged in conduct that amounted to stalking in that your conduct caused her fear, distress, or significant distress.”

A police officer said in her court testimony that she could connect Minford to all the charges. District Judge Nigel Broderick adjourned the case until October 15.
