Frank Warren disagrees with bold knockout prediction for Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois as he argues about the result on talkSPORT

Frank Warren was in no mood to consider Spencer Oliver’s prediction for Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois.

The heavyweights will meet this weekend in an exciting heavyweight bout live on talkSPORT, with the former's IBF heavyweight world title on the line.

And Dynamite's promoter Warren sat down with Simon Jordan and Oliver to give a preview of the fight on talkBOXING and help his protégé Dubois get the job done.

Oliver, the former European bantamweight champion, said Joshua would finish first and insisted the fight would not go six rounds either way.

“After the rebuilding process that Daniel Dubois has undergone, he will be able to stand up to Anthony Joshua.

“But that puts him in a dangerous position. It could come down to who finds his range first.

“Anthony Joshua has to use his space, control it and get away with his own right hand. The fight will definitely not go into the second half.

“Because Dubois is leaving and Joshua has to face him because he is not the kind of fighter that moves and moves.

“Whoever hits Frank with a right hand first will be knocked out. AJ doesn't have to look for Daniel.”

Warren immediately hit back, saying, “I disagree,” but was interrupted before he could make his point.

Instead, the two argued and tried to make their points before attention turned to Dubois' victory over the hard-hitting Filip Hrgovic in June.

“Daniel Dubois took a lot of right hooks and he can’t take that against Anthony Joshua.

“And Hrgovic doesn't have the power that AJ has to offer.”

Warren replied, “But he had a good chin and a nice moustache.”

“The way I see it is, when they come out, they're both going to use their jab to release the right hand.

Anthony Joshua reveals the real reason he stood up and confronted Daniel Dubois before their big heavyweight fight

“And if the jab and the right hand miss, both are vulnerable and then it depends on who can take the punch.

“I don't think it will go beyond six either, but I think it will be interesting to see what AJ shows.”

Joshua is the favorite, although Warren has decided to back Dubois and suggests he will spring an upset.

“Dyanmite” is in good form after responding to his loss to Oleksandr Usyk with wins over Jarrell Miller and Hrgovic.

But AJ is in equally impressive shape, having knocked out Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou with thunderous KOs since switching to Ben Davison.

The winner of the fight is expected to face a possible undisputed bout with the winner of Usyk's rematch against Tyson Fury on December 21.
