The best of German hits and pop, international guests and many special duets: On Saturday, September 21, 2024, 8:15 p.m., Giovanni Zarrella will once again bring together artists from across all genres in his music show on ZDF.

Presenter Giovanni Zarrella is looking forward to Gianna Nannini, Rea Garvey, Samu Haber, Kerstin Ott, Oli.P, Patrick Lindner, Melissa Naschenweng, Howard Carpendale, Sarah Engels, Matthias Reim, Maite Kelly and Gregor Meyle, among others. Patrick Lindner is a guest on the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” for the first time, as is Karsten Walter, ex-member of the pop boy group Feuerherz. The program this evening includes many special duets, including with Kerstin Ott and Ben Zucker, who also brought their current solo songs. Semino Rossi also presented a new hit and for the first time alongside Francine Jordi. Pop titan Bernhard Brink sings the successful duet “Du hast mich einmal zu oft angebracht” with Sonia Liebing once again.

In addition to the stars of German pop music, international guests have also announced their appearance. Italy's superstar Gianna Nannini is returning to her German audience with new music and will sing her hit songs “Bello e impossibile” and “Un'estate Italiana” with Giovanni Zarrella and band.

Audience favorite Rea Garvey from Ireland will sing songs from his new album – including a duet with Picture This – and the Irish classic “Dirty Old Town” as an encore. Finnish rock star Samu Haber will also bring international brilliance with a version of his biggest hit, “Hollywood Hills,” sung live in a duet with Giovanni Zarrella. American singer Ray Dalton will present a medley of his big hits, and the ensemble of the musical “& Julia” will celebrate its TV premiere in Germany.

This additional “Giovanni Zarrella Show”, which is planned for 2024, was recorded in Offenburg in May for planning reasons. The show will be broadcast with subtitles and live audio description.
