Franklin County football team outlasts Liberty County, Hamilton County volleyball team sweeps Madison County

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A little more than a week after the tragic death of Port St. Joe's Chance Gainer, the Liberty County and Franklin County football teams played on the same field in Bristol where Gainer last played.

The game was postponed until Monday so that both programs could attend Gainer's exhibition, which took place Friday night in Port St. Joe.

The Seahawks beat the Bulldogs 35-28, giving the team its first 4-0 start in history.

In high school volleyball, the Hamilton County Trojans defeated Madison County in two sets, 25-23, 25-22, and 25-16.
