Tennis betting tips and predictions for Wednesday: Rakhimova ready for surprise

For today's best tennis tips and predictions, we're taking another look at the WTA event in Guadalajara. Both of Wednesday's matches feature some very experienced tennis players, and in one of them we're backing experience over youth, so read on to find out.

The best tennis tips and predictions today

In the first game, we predict that Kamilla Rakhimova will beat Victoria Azarenka, while in the other game, we expect Danielle Collins to get back on track.

Rakhimova defeats Azarenka @ 11/4

As you can see from the odds, Rakhimova is not the favorite in this matchup for obvious reasons. Victoria Azarenka may not be at her best anymore, but she is still one of the better players on tour.

In addition, she has enormous experience and knows exactly how to win a match against any tennis player. She has seen every style of play imaginable and rarely knows how to adapt to her opponent.

We're still betting on Rakhimova to win, simply because she's been in incredible form recently and it shouldn't be impossible to beat Azarenka. Rakhimova has been in Guadalajara for over a week.

She played here last week, won the event and has just been really solid over the last few weeks. Azarenka has been OK but because of the very special conditions in the city (high altitude) she might have problems here.

We could see Rakhimova using her form and the conditions to her advantage and winning this fight. She is generally a player who does not give up games easily and could keep the upper hand in a long fight.

Collins vs. Gadecki over 19.5 games @ 5/6

Danielle Collins has put in some amazing performances this year and although she has been beating her opponents in recent months, she hasn't played at this level in a long time. Plus, she's about to officially retire, so how much motivation is left?

She's up against a player who has been on a comeback of late. Gadecki was in action in Guadalajara last week and did pretty well, so she'll be pretty well prepared for this match.

The conditions will be no surprise to her, while Collins could struggle in her first match here. Overall, it's just a matchup that seems problematic for Collins, who hasn't looked this good in a while.

Her performance at the US Open was terrible and her career may be reaching its peak. Maybe the training is less intense, but the level is not the same anymore.

Gadecki looks pretty motivated and will surely be gunning for a win here. The last time they faced each other was earlier this year in Austin and it was a no-brainer. Collins did win, but she won 7-5, 6-3 and we could see something similar.

We think it will actually be three sets, but even if it is only two sets there is a good chance it will go to the over. It really makes sense to bet on this tip and that is why we pulled the trigger.
