“Predator” from Swindon abused a child for years

Kinston was convicted of, among other things, sexual abuse of a child under 13, multiple counts of rape of a child under 13, multiple counts of sexual conduct in the presence of a child, and multiple counts of sexual assault of a child under 13 by penetration.

Sergeant Vaughan added: “Firstly, I would like to commend the victim for the bravery she has shown throughout the investigation, particularly given her young age.

“He showed no regard for the victim and refused to plead guilty to any of the charges against him despite having all the evidence against him.

“Instead, he forced his victim to relive the events in court, which cannot have been easy for the victim.

“Thankfully, thanks to the victim's courage and the evidence we collected, the jury saw through his lies and he will now be held accountable for his actions.”
