Victim of the Myrtle Beach shooting was in the car and was shot multiple times with a rifle, the report says

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A police report reveals more details about a shooting in Myrtle Beach last month.

Because of the shooting, Myrtle Beach police officers arrived at the Super 8 Motel at 3450 Highway 17 Bypass at around 9:30 p.m. on August 29.

A witness told officers that he saw the two suspects approach the victim, who was in a car.

One of the suspects pulled out a rifle and fired several shots at the victim's car, causing the victim to suffer numerous gunshot wounds, according to the police report.

The suspects then fled in the opposite direction, the report said.

Officers interviewed the victim at the hospital and “several others” at the Super 8 Motel.

Myrtle Beach police did not announce any arrests in this case.
