It took two Sundays until the third episode of the new “Who’s Stealing My Show?” season finally arrived: Celebrity guest Tommi Schmitt managed to steal the show from presenter Joko Winterscheidt.

“I don’t want to moderate this at all”he joked shortly before his victory in the final quiz round. But he signed the moderation contract without hesitation.

After four games – at the end of the first prize level – Schmitt had already achieved a comfortable lead. While comedian Kurt Krömer and singer Nina Chuba each scored six points, he had eleven points.

Wildcard candidate Chiara was eliminated with five points.

Tommi Schmitt experienced the jungle camp moment

Schmitt finally made it to the final with a game reminiscent of the jungle camp. In “I forgot the answer so quickly”, the podcaster had to read out a text with the gaps and at the same time fill in the blanks.

The catch: Meanwhile, Schmitt had to crawl through a narrow, dusty cave to find Winterscheidt's lost Airpod. Faced with dirt and narrow passages, he fled:

“I feel like Ailton in the jungle camp.”

Because Schmitt’s score was so high after the game that he could no longer be caught, Krömer, who would have been next in line, was spared the task.

Joko Winterscheidt shares Berghain history

Even though he was eliminated by Schmitt, Krömer was in good form in the third episode of “Who’s Stealing My Show?” This not only earned him points. With one of his answers he also managed to unlock a private anecdote for moderator Winterscheidt.

The question that got the celebrities chatting was what the abbreviation “CT” stands for in the medical field. “Computer tomography,” Krömer answered and joked. At his age, you had to go there. He also explained:

“The coolest techno is playing in the tube.”

Winterscheidt then reported that he, too, always thinks of techno music during CT scans while he lies in the tube and listens to the noises. The moderator explained:

“It calms me down when I imagine myself in Berghain.”

The thought of the Berlin techno club immediately brought back a memory.

In the Berghain, Klaas used to always call out “Papa?” into the darkroom before he left, Winterscheidt said, before generously continuing the game.

Teenager helps out Tommi Schmitt

Wild nights also featured in episode three, when an 18-year-old spectator came on stage to compete for Schmitt in a game called “Ball Bouncing.”

The task: Throw table tennis balls so that they bounce once and then land in a plastic cup. “When was the last time he did that?” Schmitt asked the young man.

That was “two or three weeks ago,” he replied. “Sober?” Schmitt asked. “No, no,” the 18-year-old clarified briefly.. “Laughing gas or beer?” Schmitt continued to investigate. “Drunk, beer,” said the teenager.

“Is laughing gas a thing for you?” Winterscheidt asked, surprised. “No, not at all,” explained the 18-year-old. “Sorry, it's a stupid question on TV,” admitted the presenter.

Luckily for Schmitt, the teenager proved that he can bounce balls even without beer. Whether he will get through the show as well as a presenter as he did as a candidate will be revealed in episode four.

Episode three of the ProSieben show will air next Sunday at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben or can be watched in advance on Joyn.

As a professional boxer, Regina Halmich has only suffered one defeat, but it is her fight against Stefan Raab that probably makes the most headlines: On September 14, she will step into the ring against the entertainer for the third time, who will be celebrating a TV comeback after a long time with this fight.
