Where to get tickets for the new show

Stefan Raab returns to television with his show “Du gewinnst nicht die Million” (You won’t win the million). The website for the RTL show crashes during advance ticket sales.

Entertainer Stefan Raab will be appearing live on his own TV show for the first time in nine years on Wednesday (September 18). Following the long-awaited boxing match against Regina Halmich, the former “TV total” presenter announced his television comeback. The first episode of his show “Du gewinnst nicht die Million” will be recorded just a few kilometers from Cologne.

When Raab announced advance ticket sales on Saturday evening, the website “raab-tickets.de” crashed within minutes. Tickets for the first recording on Tuesday, September 17, in the TV studios in Hürth were sold out shortly after the announcement. But fans can still hope that Stefan Raab will soon be back live. Because there is still one last chance to get tickets.

Although the shows are already sold out until October 10, fans can put their names on a waiting list. Stefan Raab's production company “Raab Entertainment” will then inform interested parties by email if tickets for one of the following shows become available. In total, there are currently tickets available for five editions of “Du gewinnst hier nicht die Million”. It is unclear when more tickets will be made available.

The contract between Raab and RTL initially runs for five years. The Cologne entertainer would be 62 years old at the end of the term. Raab had not appeared in public prior to his third fight against former world champion Regina Halmich. When he entered the boxing ring on Saturday, accompanied by fireworks and loud music, he appeared in public in front of the camera for the first time in nine years.

After the end of “TV total” in 2015 on ProSieben, the entertainer moved to RTL. His new show, according to Raab, is a mixture of “quizzes, games and a review of the week's events”, and will be broadcast weekly on Wednesdays at 8:10 p.m. on the streaming service RTL+ from September 18th.
