The senior athletics world champion Wendelin Acker was honored with a reception by the city and TSV Burladingen and signed the Golden Book during the event.

The first thing that greeted him was thunderous applause: Wendelin Acker, senior world champion and vice world champion of the senior athletics world championships in Gothenburg 2024, entered the Trigema Arena with hearty sounds from the joint music group of the Burladingen clubs.
