A devastating fire in Kpone Kokompe on Friday, September 13, 2024, tragically claimed the lives of four people, including a 14-year-old girl, two boys aged 11 and 2, and a 27-year-old man.

The fire, which broke out at 11:28 p.m., spread quickly, engulfing ten wooden structures and destroying personal belongings, furniture and household appliances.

However, it later emerged that the 27-year-old man, who had unexpectedly returned home, was missing. He tragically died along with his three children.

The fire has caused grief in the community and the GNFS has expressed its condolences to the bereaved families and all those affected by the tragedy.
