Sheriff's Office: Woman arrested for strangulation in Milton

Jennifer L. Fraser, 41, of Milton, was arrested Saturday after being charged with strangulation and endangering the welfare of a child.

The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said they responded to a welfare call at 5:04 a.m. at 885 Middle Line Road in Milton and arrested Fraser.

She is accused of applying pressure to another person's throat or neck in an attempt to impede that person's normal breathing or blood circulation, which police say caused the person to lose consciousness.

According to authorities, an 8-month-old child was present at the time of the incident.

The sheriff's office arrested Fraser and charged him with second-degree strangulation and endangering the welfare of a child.

Fraser was arraigned in Milton Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail without bail pending further proceedings in the matter.
