Injured after knife attack in Ramstein! – Nachrichten AG

On Saturday evening, around 11 p.m., a physical altercation was reported on the event grounds of the Kerwe in Ramstein-Miesenbach. Witnesses reported a dispute between a 16-year-old from Landstuhl and a 27-year-old from the district, which escalated when the youth pulled out a carpet knife and swung it in the direction of his opponent. Two men suffered superficial cuts, while an 18-year-old acquaintance of the 27-year-old overpowered the attacker and was also slightly injured. A woman who came to the scene was able to escape the attack and was unharmed.

The police arrived at the scene when the perpetrator had already fled. Thanks to a quick reaction, the officers were able to arrest him shortly afterwards. The knife used in the crime was confiscated and a blood sample was taken from the suspect. The injured received the necessary treatment in hospital and were released that night.
