Saudi league player Al-Muwallad hospitalized after falling from balcony in Dubai while on vacation

Saudi Arabian football player Fahad Al-Muwallad is in intensive care after falling from a second-floor balcony while on holiday in Dubai.

The Dubai Police General Command said late Saturday that Al-Muwallad “was involved in an accident while on a short vacation in Dubai when he fell from the balcony of his second-floor house.”

The 30-year-old winger, who currently plays for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Shabab, took part in the 2018 World Cup with Saudi Arabia.

Police said that “initial investigations have shown that the accident occurred while he was on the balcony” and that the investigation is still ongoing.

Police said Al-Muwallad was “in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Dubai, where the efforts of medical teams continue to provide him with the necessary care.”
