Despite eagerly awaiting his first NFL appearance, Williams' performance was mediocre to say the least. The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner could only manage 93 yards through the air and 108 yards through the all-purpose route against the Tennessee Titans. However, the rookie was rescued by great plays from the Bears' special teams and defense. Jonathan Owens' touchdown after a blocked punt and Tyrique Stevenson's pick-six in the fourth quarter were the only times Chicago reached the end zone last Sunday. Still, it was enough to outlast the Titans, who escaped with a 24-17 victory. There will obviously be some teething issues this season with Williams at the helm, but the right amount of patience will be crucial to his development.

He will certainly have a tough time against the defending AFC South champions, the Texans. Unlike the Bears, Houston looked a little more confident in their 29-27 win over the Indianapolis Colts last week. They moved the ball in the air and on the ground. Stroud threw for 234 yards and two touchdowns, while Joe Mixon ran for 159 yards and a touchdown. If Houston's defense can keep up with the efficiency of the offense, they will be a tough team to beat.

This will be only the seventh meeting between the Bears and the Texans. Houston is 4-2 against Chicago, although the Bears have won the last two meetings, including the last meeting in 2022.

MY CHOICE: Texans win 30-13
