Man sentenced to 20 years in prison for child sexual abuse in Washington County

HILLSBORO, Ore. (KATU) — A judge has sentenced a Washington County man to 20 years in prison for child sexual abuse.

Earlier this month, 69-year-old Richard Warren pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree child abuse.

According to investigators, Warren repeatedly sexually abused his victim for over a year.

Warren threatened to rape and kill her relatives if she ever told anyone.

During the course of their investigation, investigators learned of additional allegations against Warren dating back to the 1980s and made in other states.

Investigators believe Warren may have more victims.
