Stefan Raab is returning! Not to the boxing ring, but actually in front of the cameras and with new formats. The 57-year-old announced details of his new contract with RTL in a press conference after his (lost) comeback boxing match against Regina Halmich on September 14th. “I'm doing shows again,” Raab announced the good news immediately after the match to thunderous applause.

“I've decided to do shows again. Life is a process.” A whole generation has grown up without a good sense of humor, so it was his duty to do something again, he joked. Then he made up his mind – and announced that it would start next week.

Raab: This is his new show

“You won't win the million here” is the name of Raab's new show, which starts on September 18th at 8:10 p.m. – not on RTL, but exclusively online on RTL+. “At some point RTL came to me and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Do you want to be number 2 on RTL after the Bachelor? I didn't hesitate for long.”

Raab himself calls the new show the “world's first entertainment-quiz hybrid show.” “It has everything I can do.” There's competition, quiz, and I'll also dissect the week's events for you.” Every week, participants can win a million euros. “But unfortunately, someone has something against it: me. They have to get past me too.” You can apply for tickets at Raab-Tickets.de. “Anyone can take part. You don't have to be a genius, but you have to do everything right,” he revealed afterwards.

Stefan Raab: There’s more to come!

“But there will be other formats,” explained Raab. “Of course I have more plans for RTL. We will do more events for you.” Then he joked: “I don't know if RTL can afford something like this evening again, but I'll try.”

Afterwards, Raab answered questions from the journalists present in a good mood and revealed one or two secrets – such as that the letters “NWSDWH” emblazoned on his baseball cap have no real meaning.

Raab: Contract with RTL for five years

As Raab revealed at the end of the press conference, his contract with RTL runs for five years. A lot can also be expected from the Raab family.
