Lizzo sings “Hot to Go” by Chappell Roan in the video: Watch

Hurry, it's dinner time—order up, because Lizzo is hot! In a new post to her Instagram on Thursday night (September 12), the “Good as Hell” singer shared her own rendition of Chappell Roan's hit “Hot to Go!”.

Wearing an oversized T-shirt that read “100% that bitch,” she sang the catchy chorus of the song “HOTTOGO/ You can take me hot to go” before delivering an impressive riff on the final note.

“Aaaand on that note, goodnight!” Lizzo captioned the video, adding in a separate comment that fans could call her “Usher Roan.”

This isn't the first time Lizzo has spoken out about the “Pink Pony Club” singer. After Roan posted a series of TikToks setting clear boundaries with her fans, Lizzo responded with a supportive message. “We all need a little more empathy. It's very mindful. Very low-key,” she said. “I'm going to ride for Chappell because I see myself in her… She has the right to speak for herself. She has the right to feel what she feels.”

The news comes a few weeks after Lizzo announced she was taking “a year off” to “keep my peace.” While in Bali, the singer regularly shared updates with her fans about her time abroad, including a comparison video in which she reflects on her mental health over the past three years.

“I didn't want to post this on IG but my 2021 self would be soooo proud of my 2024 self,” she wrote. “And I'm NOT just talking about my body, if you only KNEW what I've done for my mental and emotional health this past year… phew don't worry I'll write an album about it.”
