Rakish Bingham scores and gives Ebbsfleet their first win of the season

Rakish Bingham helped new Ebbsfleet manager Harry Watling get off to the perfect start, leading the club to their first win of the season at the ninth attempt.

Anthony Mancini and Joe Gray both had good chances to score for the visitors at the start, but Ben Chapman and Lewis Page posed a dangerous threat to the hosts.

Ebbsfleet took the lead when Pools' former player Bingham put them ahead five minutes before half-time with their first goal in five games.

Twelve minutes after the restart, Dan Dodds almost equalised for Darren Sarll's side, but striker Mani Dieseruvwe wasted a wonderful opportunity just before the end of time.

However, Chapman and Greg Cundle might have extended Ebbsfleet's lead as they claimed a 1-0 victory.
