Man wanted for sexually abusing 6-year-old girl and attempting kidnapping near Ada Park in Morgan Park: Chicago Police Department

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a child near a South Side park on Friday.

Police have released a photo of a man wanted for serious sexual abuse.

According to police, the man was in the Ada Park area when he followed a group of children and approached them.

The man is said to have touched a six-year-old girl and tried to kidnap her. According to police, he also invited the children to his home.

The suspect is described as being between 25 and 35 years old, between 1.70 and 1.78 meters tall and weighing between 72 and 82 kilos. He has clean-shaven black hair, a beard and brown eyes.

The suspect was last seen wearing a light-colored long-sleeved shirt and green pants pulled up to his knees.
