Beeliar stabbing: Teenager seriously injured in Royal Perth Hospital after night-time attack

A teenager is in hospital with serious injuries following a knife attack in a southern suburb of Perth in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The 15-year-old boy was with two friends, a man and a woman, in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant on Durnin Ave. in Beeliar at around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday when the group was approached by a man.

It is believed that there was a brief verbal argument before the man left the area.

A short time later, at approximately 12:50 a.m., the victim and his girlfriend were crossing a nearby oval on Ivankovich Avenue when the man approached a second time.

It is believed that there was a brief physical altercation between the man and the teenager, during which the teenager was stabbed and suffered multiple stab wounds.
