Will the RG Kar impasse end? Bengal government invites protesting doctors to Mamata Banerjee's residence at 6 pm

The West Bengal government invited medical professionals to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's residence at 6 pm on Saturday to hold a meeting to break the impasse in the RG Kar movement.

The development came after agitated junior doctors sent an email to the state government on Saturday expressing their desire to hold talks with Mamata Banerjee

Earlier on the same day, the Prime Minister had paid them a surprise visit to their demonstration site in front of “Swasthya Bhavan”, the headquarters of the Ministry of Health.

One of the mobilizing doctors said they wanted transparency and were ready to hold a meeting with the Prime Minister at any time and anywhere to break the deadlock.
