From September 12th to 15th, the “Glücksgefühle” festival, which was founded by Lukas Podolski and Markus Krampe, will take place for the second time at the Hockenheimring. A “journey to happiness” is promised for the up to 200,000 people who watch the numerous show acts. The line-up at least sounds promising for the motto.

Among those taking part are Die Fantastischen Vier and Bausa. Shirin David, Álvaro Soler and Tokio Hotel will also get the audience going. The festival also features one of the most famous boy bands in the world: The Backstreet Boys will be performing there exclusively this summer.

There are also many other show acts that can be seen on the various themed stages.

On September 13th, Tokio Hotel performed alongside the Backstreet Boys. Knossi and Marc Eggers were also at the party. The celebrities created a curious moment when Bill met a member of the US boy band.

Tokio Hotel performed on Friday from 4:05 p.m. to 5:05 p.m. on the so-called “Euphoria Stage.” They received a lot of praise for their performance. One user wrote on their Instagram account: “The best band ever. The performance was amazing, guys. Thank you for always making us happy.” Someone also commented: “Tokio Hotel rocked.”

Bill Kaulitz appeared at the festival again with Marc Eggers. At the Oktoberfest 2023, they were photographed kissing each other.

The YouTuber was also a recurring topic in the Netflix documentary “Kaulitz & Kaulitz.” What will happen next with the two of them, however, was left open.

Knossi and Marc also warmed up the audience at the Glücksgefühle Festival. They were also given an hour on the “Good Vibes Only Stage”. Knossi promised beforehand: “We'll give it our all for an hour.”

Bill posted clips of the performance on his Instagram account. In one scene, Eggers jumped around the stage shirtless.

Netflix also filmed one or two moments; as we know, there is a second season of the series about Bill and Tom.

The highlight of the evening, however, was the Backstreet Boys. They were last on the bill and played their biggest hits from 10:30 p.m. to midnight. Knossi and Marc sang “I Want It That Way” with the guests beforehand to get in the mood. Bill was on stage with many others and sang along exuberantly.

Backstage, Knossi filmed the members of the Backstreet Boys arriving. “There's just Kevin and Brian, that was my favorite,” he said happily alongside Marc Eggers, who added: “I'm totally blown away, I saw the Backstreet Boys.”

Knossi continued to document Howie and AJ getting out of the car. Howie went straight to Bill Kaulitz, who was also waiting for the arrival. The two shook hands. “Wow, they just know each other,” Knossi said.

At that moment, Knossi took a swipe. “I would have liked to shake your hand too,” he said to Bill. And continued: “Come on, Bill, introduce us, we’re your friends.” The singer laughed and simply said, “I’m sorry.”

Then it was time for the US stars' show. Bill, Marc and Knossi were backstage on the stage. “I can't believe it, it's so surreal. Nick, full throttle, the show is worth it.” Nevertheless, he also had some criticism: “But I really have to say, there was a little bit of a lack of stage design, nothing at all.”

Jana Wosnitza gave up part of her career as a presenter. The 30-year-old was at Sport1, where she covered events related to the Darts and Ice Hockey World Championships. She also showed her expertise on “Doppelpass” on Sat.1. The new NFL season started on September 6th on RTL. The broadcaster is the exclusive free-TV partner of the US league. Wosnitza was just in New York to report live on the event.
