An exciting day on the streets of East Hesse! On Thursday (September 12th), traffic detectives registered several accidents that caused quite a stir. Shocking collisions, dangerous driving maneuvers and a mysterious hit-and-run accident – the events of the last few days have been quite something!

Drama in Ludwigsau: Audi hits moped

On Thursday morning, at around 9 a.m., the 64-year-old Audi driver was driving on Hersfelder Strasse. She braked abruptly to turn left into a driveway. But suddenly the drama became serious! A 65-year-old moped driver was unable to brake in time and crashed into the back of the Audi – an impact that was not without consequences! The man fell and fortunately only sustained minor injuries. The damage to the two vehicles? Imagine: an impressive 3,000 euros!

Damage to two cars: Bad Hersfeld in focus

It continues with another scandal! On the same day, at around 11:45 a.m., a 79-year-old VW Polo driver crossed the street “Am Kurpark”. She turned left into Nachtigallenstraße and boom! She ignored the right of way of a 46-year-old BMW driver. The collision resulted in a loud bang on the rear driver's door of the BMW! The material damage? Over 2,500 euros! Once again it is clear that even the most experienced drivers can make mistakes.

And that's not all – Friday (September 13th) turned into a nightmare for a 24-year-old. He parked his grey Skoda Fabia properly on Wilhelm-Göttling-Straße. After a quick detour, he discovered shocking damage to his car! The person who caused the accident has vanished into thin air. Fortunately, the police and their investigators were able to track down the license plate of the person who caused the accident. The damage to the Skoda? An unpleasant 500 euros! Anyone who saw anything should report to the Bad Hersfeld police station as soon as possible.

Another incident occurred on Wednesday (September 11th), when a 39-year-old driver lost control of her Toyota Land Cruiser at around 7:30 a.m. and crashed into a guardrail. What exactly happened remains unclear. The material damage? An incredible 10,600 euros! But despite the shock, the driver remained unharmed – a small ray of hope in a day full of chaos on the streets of eastern Hesse.
