Coroner identifies woman in stabbing in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman was found dead Wednesday.

Investigators report that the woman was found dead in her home on Edgemont Avenue in Greenville and that the incident is currently under investigation.

The coroner identified the victim as 40-year-old Maria Teresa Hernandez-Hernandez.

The coroner said the woman was stabbed in the neck.
