Man arrested and charged with knife attack near Valley City bar

VALLEY CITY, ND (Valley News Live) – A man is facing charges after allegedly attacking another man with a knife outside a Valley City bar Wednesday morning.

Dalten Perleberg was arrested for aggravated assault with a weapon.

On Wednesday, September 11, at around 8 p.m., police were called to a fight near Boomers Corner Keg.

Investigators found that Perleberg had attacked a man with a knife and an improvised weapon after an argument in the bar.

The bar's owner told Valley News Live that the fight did not take place inside the bar, but outside behind the bar.

The bar's owner also said in a phone call with Valley News Live that they had never been there.

No further information is currently available as the case is still under investigation.
