Malaika Arora was spotted outside her father Anil Mehta's house on Thursday evening, with her face partially hidden behind a mask. The actress looked visibly heartbroken as she left her parent's house after her father's last rites. She was accompanied by her long-time partner Arjun Kapoor, who walked solemnly beside her.

Recently, reports have suggested that Malaika and Arjun have separated. However, Arjun has been a constant support for Malaika since the tragic death of her father on September 11, 2024. Anil Mehta reportedly committed suicide by jumping from the balcony of his house in Bandra, Mumbai. This devastating loss has left Malaika and her family in deep grief.

A video shared by paparazzi site Viral Bhayani shows Malaika leaving the building. Her eyes are hidden behind a mask, but her grief was evident in her body language. She wore a casual, all-white linen set. Arjun, on the other hand, wore an all-black ensemble and looked serious and composed as he stayed by her side. Their presence together speaks volumes, despite the rumours of their breakup.

Earlier, Salman Khan was also seen visiting Malaika's family to pay his last respects. Dressed casually in a navy blue shirt and ripped jeans, Salman made a brief but serious appearance. This is the first time Salman has publicly reunited with Malaika since she divorced his younger brother Arbaaz Khan in 2017.

Several Bollywood stars have visited the family to express their condolences during this difficult time. Malaika's father, Anil Mehta, was much loved by his family and described as a gentle soul, devoted grandfather and loving husband.

On September 11, Malaika released an emotional statement on her father's death and asked for privacy during this heartbreaking time. Her message read, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father Anil Mehta… Our family is deeply shocked by this loss and we respectfully request privacy… We thank you for your understanding, support and respect.”

Malaika's friends, family and colleagues have rallied around her and offered support as she struggles through this painful chapter.
