Preview: Bournemouth – Chelsea

Bournemouth will put their unbeaten start to the test when Chelsea visit Vitality late on Saturday night.

The Cherries scored their first win of the season just before half-time in a sensationally dramatic victory at Everton.

The score was 0-2 in the 86th minute, but Andoni Iraola's side scored three more goals in the remaining time to put the Toffees under even more pressure.

This was a remarkable turnaround considering they had already looked out of sorts so close to the end and had been disappointed the week before by what they thought was a winning goal against Newcastle that was disallowed.

Chelsea lost to Crystal Palace in their last game before the break and were unable to build on their 6-2 win from the previous week.

Since then, new faces have obviously arrived at Stamford Bridge. What impact could they have? Or more importantly, which team will Enzo Maresca play for?

Will the Bournemouth vs Chelsea game be broadcast on TV and can it be streamed?

  • Bournemouth vs Chelsea will be broadcast LIVE on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.
  • Subscription members can also stream the entire event via the Sky Go app.
  • Alternatively, SunSport offers minute-by-minute coverage of the entire game.

Team News Bournemouth vs Chelsea

Kepa Arrizabalaga will miss the game as the player, on loan from Bournemouth, faces his parent club.

Cole Palmer missed his international match due to injury and it remains to be seen whether he will make it.

Malo Gusto and Reece James are expected to miss the game, meaning Chelsea will have to rethink their full-back position; however, Romeo Lavia is expected to return.

Jadon Sancho hopes to be part of the team following his move during the transfer window, and Joao Felix is also pushing for a place in the starting eleven.

Betting tips and predictions for Bournemouth vs. Chelsea

Expected goals

There must be goals here.

Chelsea have more than enough attackers to cause problems for the hosts, although they are not quite as clever in defence themselves.

The five goals from last weekend at Goodison Park could be repeated here.

  • Over 3.5 goals scored at 11/10 at William Hill – CLAIM HERE

Difficult task

Wesley Fofana is expected to keep his place in Chelsea’s defence.

He received a yellow card before half-time in the game against Palace and can make up for it here, as Evanilson is likely to be a lively competitor up top.

  • Wesley Fofana is booked at 15/8 at William Hill – CLAIM HERE
