Enie-Show becomes the sweet spot again – Quotenmeter.de

The third edition of the current season was scheduled yesterday.

As is well known, Sat.1 had a problem child three weeks ago. In competition with the summer jungle camp, the channel had to deal with a surprising failure: It was “The Great Bake Off” with Enie van de Meiklokjes, which got off to a bad start in the new season and only achieved a sobering share of 6.9 percent, although it is usually good for double-digit figures. But there was relief in week 2, when the competition was not quite as strong and it was able to return to double-digit figures. With 0.45 million to 10.5 percent of advertising-relevant viewers, it must be said that Sat.1 was able to breathe a sigh of relief for the time being.

The question that arose this week was whether the Back format could maintain this level or whether it would fall back into the single digits. With 0.39 million viewers from the target group, it must be proven that the reach could not be fully maintained; after all, this response was enough for a rating of 9.3 percent, which is still completely satisfactory. As usual, things did not go so well with older viewers, but they still managed a slightly above-average 6.2 percent (1.32 million).

What the channel has unfortunately given up on is using the rare buzz of one of its last successful formats to push other new releases and establish them. Instead, they have resorted to the unimaginative strategy of then adding the umpteenth ranking to the program (as if there weren't enough of those already). “Top Ten!” The Taste Countdown” did moderately well at best, with a ratings loss of 7.3 percent (0.16 million viewers). The potential of the lead-in should actually be better utilized somehow.
