Kuwaiti arrested for armed robbery of home delivery man in Jahra

KUWAIT CITY, September 11: The Criminal Investigation Department, specifically the Taima Investigation Department in Jahra Governorate, successfully solved 10 cases, including 7 felonies and 3 misdemeanors, by arresting a citizen with a criminal record. The accused was involved in a series of robberies targeting foreign nationals, mainly delivery workers, over the past two months. The authorities confiscated the weapon used in these crimes, which had been reported on several occasions by the Arab Times newspaper.

A security source explained that the increasing number of armed robberies led to the formation of a special task force. After extensive investigations, the suspect was arrested after he resisted police while leaving his residence. Upon questioning and presentation of evidence, the accused confessed to the crimes and identified the weapon used.
