3 arrested for knife attack on 40-year-old man |

New Delhi: Three men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 40-year-old man named John.
John was found with numerous stab wounds and bloodstained clothes next to a tree on a sidewalk near southwest Delhi. Masoodpur flyover Tuesday around 8.15pm.
DCP (Southwest) Rohit Meena said John was a worker and lived under the Transfer In Vasant KunjHe was involved in an altercation with three men – Aman (21), a rag picker, Jeewan (27), a drummer and beggar, and Aamir (18), a petrol station worker.
Jeewan had asked Aamir to meet him near the flyover to settle a debt of Rs 800 owed by Aamir. Jeewan reached there with Aman and the three men started drinking alcohol, police said.
John, who had pitched his bed nearby, got into an altercation with the trio after Aman allegedly vomited near him. John verbally abused Aman and provoked him to attack John with a broken liquor bottle. Jeewan also joined in the attack, using a knife he found in John's belongings, police said.
