Despite this, Daisy has started making some lifestyle changes to help her manage the disease, including eating mindfully, which she is “not super strict about,” and practicing self-care, including exercising to “feel good.”

After implementing these changes, the beauty explained, she felt better and more aware of life around her. She noted, “I didn't realize how bad I was before.”

Daisy said she continues to learn to listen to her body, something many women are not inclined to do.

She said: “We all read the statistics about women who are undiagnosed or underdiagnosed and have to come to terms with saying, 'I really, actually don't feel well', rather than saying, 'I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine.' It's just seen as normal not to feel well.”
