Tamil actor Jeeva and his wife suffer minor injuries in road accident

KALLAKURICHI: Tamil film actor Jeeva and his wife sustained minor injuries in a road accident near Chinna Salem In Kallakurichi district on Wednesday.
According to police, the actor and his wife were travelling from Chennai to Salem by car. The car was driven by the actor.
As they crossed Ammaiagarama car driver was crossing the road. Jeeva made a sharp turn to avoid a collision with the car driver. His car crossed the median and ended up on the opposite lane.
The actor, his wife and the driver suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The driver, identified as K Manikandanwas treated at Chinna Salem Govt General Hospital while the actor and his wife were treated at a private hospital in Salem. The actor and his wife continued their journey after receiving initial treatment.
