Tragic accident: Snack seller killed by bus convoy in Dwarka

A 20-year-old snack vendor named Vijay Kumar tragically died on Monday night when he was hit by a bus in southwest Delhi's Dwarka, police reports said. The incident took place near Baba Haridas Nagar at around 11 pm.

Vijay Kumar and his cousin Dharmender were returning home after selling snacks at a weekly market when they were hit by a Nangloi bus near Shiv Murti in Dichaon village, a senior police official said. Unfortunately, Kumar died on the spot while Dharmender sustained minor injuries.

A complaint has been filed and investigations are underway to arrest the driver involved. Dharmender said that the bus driver initially helped him and took him to a nearby health centre before fleeing the scene of the accident.
