Rashmika shares ‘flowery’ update on the start of shooting of ‘Sikandar’ starring Salman Khan

Mumbai: Actress Rashmika Mandanna, who is seen in a number of films, has started shooting for her role in the upcoming film.Sikandar'. The actress will be seen in the film alongside superstar Salman Khan.

On Wednesday, the actress shared a short video from the first day of filming on the set of “Sikandar'. The bouquet of flowers can be seen in the video. Excitedly, the actress wrote “flowers” in the video and formed a Korean heart with her fingers.

Sikandar is the first collaboration between Salman and Rashmika and is directed by AR Murugadoss, known for films like Ghajini and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty.

The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It marks the reunion of Salman and Sajid after the 2014 film 'Kick'. The makers of the film have scheduled its release for Eid 2025, the festival reserved for Salman Khan's releases.

Recently, Rashmika had revealed that she had met with a minor accident. She also shared that she had a lot of laddoos during her recovery.

Meanwhile, Rashmika, who recently starred in the blockbuster 'animal' will be seen along with Ranbir Kapoor in her role as Srivalli in the film starring Allu Arjun 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. She also has 'Kubera' and 'Chhaava' to Vicky Kaushal.

In 'Chhaava', the actress will be seen playing the role of Yeshubai Bhosle, the wife of Sambhaji Maharaj, along with Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana and Divya Dutta in supporting roles.'Chhava' is scheduled to hit theaters on December 6, 2025 and will clash with the potential box office hit starring Allu Arjun 'Pushpa 2: The RuleThis means that it is rare for an actress's two films to clash at the box office.
