This morning, Malaika Arora's mother also gave her statement to the Mumbai police.

Hours after the tragic death of Malaika Arora's father Anil Arora, police officials have now revealed that he was living on the sixth floor of his building in Bandra, Mumbai. An official speaking to media persons said that all aspects of the death case are being investigated, adding that the forensic team is currently at the spot and conducting investigations.

“The body of 62-year-old Mr. Anil Arora has been found. He lived on the 6th floor. A detailed investigation is on. Bandra police and a forensic team are at the spot and we will investigate all the details. Legal procedure will be followed,” the police officer said, adding, “Whatever SOPs are to be followed, we are following them. We will keep an eye on all the details and investigate.”

Malaika Arora's father, Anil Arora, allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday morning. According to sources, Malaika's mother, in her statement to the police today, had said that Anil used to sit on the balcony every morning and read the newspaper. She told the police that the two were divorced but had been living together for several years.

Joyce also told police that on Wednesday morning, when she saw her ex-husband's slippers in the living room, she went to the balcony to look for him. When she could not find him there, she leaned over and looked down. The house watchman called for help. Joyce also told police that Anil Arora was not ill. He just had knee pain. He had taken VRS from the Merchant Navy.
