Ultimate Edition with appointment and Neighborhood Watch Mode Reveal

Am October 22 Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition will be released, as Plaion and Dambuster Studios have announced. This is the ultimate version of the zombie slasher, including the new Neighborhood Watch mode and New Game Plus.

The “Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition” contains the complete main game of “Dead Island 2” as well as the two story expansions “Haus” (our review) and “SoLA” (our review). Players can also look forward to a variety of stylish cosmetic items and powerful weapons, including the brand new “Kingdom Come: Deliverance II” weapon pack for a touch of knightly action.

Dead Island 2 Neighborhood Watch Mode and New Game Plus

But that's not all. With the upcoming Patch 6, which will be free for all owners of the game, the Neighbourhood watchmode. This new cooperative horde mode was developed by Hamburg-based studio Fishlabs in collaboration with Dambuster Studios.

In this mode, players play as the Bobcats, a trio of college survivors, who must defend their Venice Canal refuge from relentless waves of zombies. Together, they face the challenge of fending off ever-growing zombie swarms, using tactical intelligence and quick reaction time.

Each successful run in this mode offers new opportunities and rewards. Players can expand their skills, unlock even deadlier weapons, and receive special themed skins that enrich gameplay and improve characters and equipment. The cooperative fight against the zombies also requires constant teamwork and strategy, as each player plays an important role in the fight for survival.

But that's not all: With the new “New Game Plus” mode, players can once again immerse themselves in the bloody heart of HELL-A – this time equipped with their favorite weapons and facing new challenges. In addition, new rewards, an additional skill slot and an increased level cap await them.
