Dog drama in Mülheim: Animal owners make terrible discovery

These are images that make you extremely sad. And a story that breaks the heart of every animal lover. A dog drama took place in Mülheim. At the beginning there was still justified hope, even though there was a risk of a negative outcome. The fact that it turned out this way is despairing.

On Facebook, a dog owner in a Mülheim group is desperately asking for help. On Sunday (September 8th) she wrote that her dog Madeleine had run away. The four-legged friend is eight years old and is wearing a striking pink harness.

The owner quickly made it clear that if the dog was seen, they should not try to catch it or speak to it, but should contact the owner immediately. The dog ran away on Sunderweg in Mülheim and is considered to be very fearful, even an “absolutely scared dog”.

Hopes of a return home arose when the furry friend was spotted in the Essen area. But it was not to be, as the owner herself says: “The sky has a new star.” Madeleine was run over by an S-Bahn in Werden. She has just been picked up.”

Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for dogs to run away. It is particularly bad when they are injured or even die – as in this sad case from Mülheim. Animal lovers say goodbye to Madeleine and try to comfort her owner.
