Police investigate stabbing at downtown Palm Springs apartment complex

Police are investigating a stabbing at a downtown Palm Springs apartment complex.

Palm Springs police officers have been on the scene at an apartment complex near El Segundo and E Arenas Road since 5:30 a.m.

At 11:30 a.m., some officers were still on site, the News Channel 3 team confirmed.

Details were scarce for several hours as officers were unable to “get a clear answer from those involved about what happened,” said PSPD spokesman Lt. Gustavo Araiza.

Araiza said the victim was in stable condition. As of Tuesday afternoon, there was no information about a possible suspect.
