A newly released bodycam video from 2023 shows the teenager accused of killing four people Apalachee High School in Georgia was interrogated by the police together with his father.

“These charges stem from Mr. Gray knowingly allowing his son, Colt, to possess a firearm,” said Chris Hosey, director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, in a press conference following the arrest.

Other family members tried to raise the alarm before the shooting. Charlie Polhamus, the suspect's grandfather, said his wife went to the high school to talk about her grandson only the day before.

On the day of the shooting, the teen's mother, Marcee Gray, called the school after receiving a text message from her son, Polhamus said. “She called the school and told them to act quickly,” Brown told CBS News, declining to provide further details.
