Zhukovsky Airport resumes operations after drone attacks

Zhukovsky airport in the Moscow region has resumed normal operations after a brief disruption due to drone attacks, according to Russian state news agency TASS. The incident prompted Russia's aviation authority Rosaviatsia to lift restrictions at Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Vnukovo airports.

Ukraine's targeted drone attack on the Russian capital on Tuesday was the largest yet. At least one person died and dozens of homes in the Moscow region were damaged. The attack forced the diversion of around 50 flights from airports around Moscow.

Although operations at Zhukovsky have resumed, air traffic was suspended for security and investigation reasons. The airport's return to normal operations came after a thorough investigation into the drone attack.
